Finals

I think that the final project is a great way to end the semester. It is nice to not have to crave out time to study. I like that we're in groups it’s something we have not done a lot of. I love the group I'm in. It's was nice that we got to pick the subject area in history. I am having a bit of trouble figuring out the media portion of the project. I was think maybe a video dairy. I do however like power points. Someone comment and give me your opinion. 

Christmas

Christmas Time, it the best time of the year.
I have so much fun during this time of year. The Carols, bright lights, Christmas trees. I love all the thing that make Christmas, Christmas!
Every year around Christmas my family would get in the car grab a hot chocolate and go a look at lights. I love listen to the music looking at the lights. It just fabulous.
Christmas Shopping is fun part of the time, each year I go shopping with my Grandma and cousins. It's fun to get gifts and spend time with my family. It's just awesome to have that time.

Class Room

I think it was a great thing that we didn't have class on the Tuesday before Fall/Thanksgiving break.
Conference are good to know what going on in your particular grade. Plus I have to drive six hours to go home. So it was nice not to worry about this class. Thanks Ms. Mosses.

Cinderella

Cinderella mother died, and every day she went to her grave a wept, and her father remarried.  Her step-sister made her do all the work around the house, from day to night poor Cinderella worked. During the night she had no bed to sleep in so she would lay by the fire. When her father when to the fair one day, he brought presents back for the girls. Cinderella receives a branch she asks for she planted this branch and I grew to a big tree by her mother’s grave. There she sat and pray, crying all her tears. In this tree white-birds came and gave Cinderella her every wish. So the prince of the kingdom sent invitations out for a ball. Cinderella helped her sister get ready for the ball but wish she could come along. Her step-mother said you may come if you get all the good grain out and the ashes. Cinderella asks for the birds help and received it, having the chore done in a hour. But still her step-mother would not let her go. When everyone leaf she ran to her mother’s tree and wept, then she call out bring me silver and gold.  There landed a gold dress and sliver embedded slippers. She looked she beautiful when she enter the ball, her step-family did not know it was her. The prince found her enchanting and would not allow anyone to dress with her but him. The prince lost Cinderella and she fled home, this is where her family found her among the ashes. For the next three nights she did this, each night looking more and more beautiful till finally the prince trap her slippers. The prince came to the house claiming who fits the gold shoe he will marry. The eldest sister tried the shoe on but it was too small, her mother had her cut off her big toe so the shoe would fit, but the prince was not fooled by this ruse. The other sister cut off part of her heel with the same result. Cinderella the last to try on the shoe became a princess. At the young couple’s wedding day Cinderella’s sister were blinded for the wickedness against her.

This story has been told time and time again; actually in my option it has been overdone. I prefer the original and of course the Disney vision.

Fairy Tale Project

I am so hyped for this project. I grew up with the Western view of the Grimm brothers. The older I got the more into the original visions of the tales. As time kept moving forward I become so in love with the Grimm brothers’ stories. Their talent that they had is awesome. I can’t wait for this page. I’m going to read up on their stories and find my inspiration from them. This project is like the best project I have ever gotten in school. : )

Iron Horny

The Frog Prince, another famous story for my favorite brothers. A German fairy tale calls the Iron Horny. In the story a young princess walks along a path by the spring. She carry with a golden ball, tossing the ball up in the air she losses her ball. The ball rolls down in a deep spring. Sadly little princess bags for someone to help her. A frog pops up out of the water and says “I will help you if you allow me to eat off your plate and sleep in your bed.” Princess thinking he can’t not get out of the spring agrees. The frog swims down to the bottom of the spring and bring the princess back her golden ball.  The princess forgetting her promise runs away with her ball. The next day the frog comes to the princess door, with command for her father she lets the frog in as she promised. This happens for three nights before to frog turn into a prince. They get married and live happily ever after.

Basic this story is a teaching tool in my mind. First you have that you must keep you promises, even if you don’t feel like it. There’s also the “Don’t judge a book by the cover.”  A frog that turns into a beautiful prince, what girl would want that?

The frog prince is not as popular as say Cinderella or Snow White but it is a magical story and it one of my favorite. The thought that nothing is as seems hits me to the core. I was a bit of an awkward geeky girl, glass and books. So, the thought that we all have a princess or prince deep inside of us.
